Just the News Please ........ Not Your Opinion

Why can't the news anchors just report the unbiased, raw news. I realize that there is an alarming shortage of well-read, knowledgeable  audiences in America but do we really want the news to be skewed to the right or to the left.  Whether you are a conservative, liberal, independent, or libertine surely you want the news presented in a balanced way with all aspects equally reported? How else can we develop an informed understanding?  I don't want someone thinking for me and I don't care what my favorite movie star thinks about a subject ..... they shouldn't sway my opinion either.  You have CNN to the far left and FOX news to the right, wouldn't it be novel to have the ATN news channel nationwide (ATN ..... that's Absolute Truth News).
